Open your eyes, open your heart
Take a look around before you start
Condemning those whose hearts you cannot see
Instead of being the hope you're meant to be.
They dress in black, their hearts are dark
Will you show light, give them a spark?
They hurt themselves to show the pain inside
Will you help, or from their darkness hide?
Jesus came to love, to bring the light
To those who're blinded by sin, without sight
Do you care enough to love those who seem so down,
Even when your love is met only by a frown?
Can you see past the scars, see the person inside
Who is struggling with pain they just have to hide?
God has no favorites, his love is for all
But how will they know unless you spread his call?
